Within the show “Lokalzeit Düsseldorf” the German television station WDR reported on the reconstruction of the university hospital Düsseldorf, one of the most modern hospitals with a HÖRTIG pneumatic tube systems for in-house transport management. Ulrich Dreiner, relocation manager, tells a reporter that he appreciates the 24/7-availability of the air tube system. The clinic uses the pneumatic tube systems as an expedient addition which ensures permanent availability of acute and on demand in –house transport between departments and facilities.
